Review - COSRX Advanced Snail 92 All In One Cream

Snail mucin. If you know anything about skincare, you've definitely heard of it. Although it may sound somewhat nasty, it's supposedly really good for your skin. It was a huge craze a few months ago, so of course I had to give it a try.

At first I tried the COSRX Advanced Snail Mucin Power Essence, which is straight up mucin. This product is nice and makes your skin feel somewhat good, but I didn't really see any major difference in my skin. I do still use this product twice a day as kind of a toner.

After being influenced by yet another TikTok, I decided to try what I like to call the "mucin moisturizer," the All In One Cream. This quickly became a favorite and a staple in my everyday skincare routine. 

Before I proceed, I feel as though it is important to note that I have somewhat sensitive combination skin. My t-zone gets decently oily as the day progresses, but otherwise I am normal/dry.

COSRX is a Korean skincare brand, which is a big deal to me. Korea has some of the most natural and effective skincare in the world. I was so excited to try this moisturizer, and it did not disappoint. 

The cream itself is somewhat sticky, as it is a form of snail mucin, so that is to be expected. It melts right into the skin, leaving it to feel very soft and every so slightly tacky until it dries down all the way. 

This moisturizer has never caused me to break out or have any sort of negative reaction. It genuinely just feels amazing once applied. It leaves my skin feeling hydrated and refreshed with each application. I suffer from redness, and I feel like this helps soothe that issue a little bit as well.

My boyfriend has zero interest in skincare and often walks around with a flaky face. He absolutely hates the feeling of most products on his face, yet he allows me to use this All In One Cream on him as a moisturizer. I even bought him one for Christmas, and he uses it a few times a week. That is how good this product feels.

The product is available in two different containers- a jar and a tube. I have tried both of them, and I definitely prefer the tube. It seems to me that there is more product in the tube. Additionally, it is much easier to control how much you get out when lightly squeezing versus dipping your fingers in a jar full of product. Jars are just not fun for me in general, as I always waste product that ends up under my nails (it's worth it for the acrylics though).

This cream is sold at $26, which to me seems like a reasonable price for a high quality (Korean) moisturizer. It is available at numerous retailers, including Ulta, TikTok shop, and the COSRX Website. 

I believe that the COSRX Advanced Snail 92 All In One Cream has made my skin slightly clearer, softer, and overall just better. If you are looking for a new moisturizer, treat your face and give this one a go.
