Review - Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Crush Cheirosa 40 Bom Dia Bright Perfume Mist
Skincare isn't just about the face; it's really for the whole body. One huge aspect of body care is smelling good, which means that perfume and body sprays are a vital part of a body care routine. No one wants to smell bad, after all.
I have always been a perfume girlie. I was the middle schooler who was always at Bath & Body Works looking for my newest scent. As I grew older and Sol de Janeiro began going viral on social media, I knew I needed to try it out for myself.
Of course, I started with the Cheirosa 62 mist, which I still absolutely adore. It smells heavenly and just perfect. It definitely went viral for a reason.
But as time went on, I wanted to try more of the scents. I then moved on to Cheirosa 68, which is much more floral and springy but still delicious. I finally decided to try out Cheirosa 40, which has to be my favorite, but 62 is definitely a close second.
Cheirosa 40, which is called Bom Dia Bright, is the perfect mixture of floral and vanilla. I can never decide if I want to smell like flowers or vanilla, so this is just right for me. According to the Sol de Janeiro website, the fragrance notes include Black Amber Plum, Crème de Cassis, Jasmine Blooms, Brazilian Orchid, Vanilla Woods, and Warm Musk. All together, it smells like heaven in a bottle.
I think this scent combination is perfect for all seasons, so it is not necessary to switch scents with each new season that arises. This is definitely a huge benefit of this specific mist, as buying a new full size and mini perfume (and matching lotion, if you're like me), can get expensive real fast.
Sol de Janeiro is on the pricier side when it comes to body mists and lotions, but it is much more affordable than high-end perfumes. The Brazilian Crush Cheirosa 40 Bom Dia Bright Perfume Mist varies in price based on size, with the 240ml size costing $48, and the 90ml coming in at $24. I know it sounds a bit pricy, but I promise, it's worth it.
A few sprays last hours, and I receive occasional compliments on the scent. This mist definitely lasts, which makes it worth the price. In addition to use on the body, it also holds very well in hair, adding to its longevity.
Next time you're on the hunt for a new scent, try Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Crush Cheirsoa 40 Bom Dia Bright Perfume Mist. Check it out at Ulta, Sephora, and on the Sol de Janeiro website.
I absolutely love this fragrance mist and wear it pretty much everyday. I definitely agree with you, it really does smell like heaven in a bottle!
ReplyDeleteI love this brand!! I have tried their other mist that was super popular and I forgot what it was called but I really liked it! I have not tried this one yet but with the positive feedback, I might give it a try now. I am trying to find a new everyday perfume to wear as well!
