Review - Tree Hut Shea Sugar Scrub
I recently decided to amp up my "self care Sunday" routine by taking an "everything shower" every Sunday evening. For those who aren't familiar, an everything shower is basically spa day- showering, shaving, exfoliating, and moisturizing. This has become something I look forward to each week, as I am able to start my week feeling fresh, smooth, and smelling like a dream.
Of course, for the everything shower to feel as good as it does, it is crucial to use high quality products. Tree Hut is a brand that I include in every shower without fail, especially my everything showers.
I have been using Tree Hut products for a few years now, and I have seen the brand continue to grow both on social media and in stores. I first heard about Tree Hut when my high school friend recommended me their Bare Moisturizing Shave Oil. I started using it and it has become my shaving holy grail. It definitely moisturizes while protecting against cuts.
After the implementation of the shave oil, I knew I wanted more Tree Hut products, so I picked up one of their Shea Sugar Scrubs. Needless to say, it is still a favorite to this day.
I think my favorite aspect of these scrubs is the divine scents. As Tree Hut continues to expand as a brand, they continue to release more and more scents of their products. There are literally so many options for scrubs- one for every preference and multiple for every season. Each and every one that I have tried smells AMAZING. I seriously want to try every scent, and I have one for each season in my closet right now.
A classic is definitely the Vanilla scrub. It smells so yummy and leaves a lingering scent of dessert after use. It is such a simple and universal scent, so definitely one that I would recommend to start off. I actually got my mom this scrub for Christmas this year, and she loves it. Some of my other favorites include Pink Hibiscus, Ocean Glow, and the classic Tropic Glow.
Tropic Glow is easily the most well known and most popular scrub. Some say the scent is a dupe for Sol de Janeiro's 62 scent. It smells divine and even has just a little bit of shimmer to it to add to the overall glow.
As it is currently spring, they recently released a few new scents in their spring seasonal collection. A few of these include Pink Hibiscus, Sunkissed Poppy, and Dewy Daisy. No matter which scent you get, I guarantee it will be wonderful. I genuinely cannot pick a favorite to focus on.
Not only do these scrubs smell incredible, but they make you feel so smooth. I rub it all over and rinse- it's super easy to use. Once done, the shower radiates the delicious scent of choice, and I feel so soft already. Adding the lotion at the end of the shower routine adds another layer of soft and yummy.
I have noticed that this scrub has helped decrease any body acne that may arise. Frequent weekly use of this formula has definitely made a difference in my skin.
While these scrubs have grown in popularity, demand, and virality, they still remain very affordable. Scrubs range in price depending on store and scent, but are typically between $7-$11. These are available at Target, Ulta, and the Tree Hut website. Grab one to prepare for your next self care Sunday, you won't regret it.
Yesss I started using their scrubs a few months ago and they really do leave my skin feeling so smooth and smelling amazing! Currently I'm using the Moroccan Rose scent, but I've been wanting to try their new ones. I did not know about their shave oil so I might have to try that out too! Thanks for sharing:)
ReplyDeleteI started using their scrubs as well! I only have one, the watermelon one, and it smells soooo good. It even has black seeds like a watermelon. It makes my skin feel so soft. I am about to be done with mine as well so maybe I will pick up a new sent!
ReplyDeleteLove using these, especially after shaving! I currently am using the candy cane scrub, which they release around Christmas, and it's the perfect scent, not too strong but still delicious.
ReplyDeleteI love tree hut scrubs as well! This weekend I just bought the ocean glow for an everything shower and it smells amazing. Ulta does have the new scents out and they are more floral and light which is perfect for spring.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely LOVE Tree Hut Scrubs, my favorite is the Strawberry one because it helps exfoliate so much but also keeps you smelling so nice and fresh without being to chemically. I also have never heard about their shave oil and I am so interested to try it, might have to be on my grocery list next time I go out!
